It is not possible to link PNR's.

Lounge access is available even if you PNR's are not linked. For short-haul flights there is no select seating any more so all seats are available to those doing OLCI first. You have to option of adding a person during OLCI (by e-ticket number) so you can select both seats in one session (recent thread is here).
