I've seen the light and have started booking exit rows instead of 1A on my AMS runs. Flew last week to AMS ex-LCY in row 9. Was handed, chucked more like it, a plastic bag containing a cuplet of water, a packet of Fox's bisquits (mmm-mm-mmmm-mmmmm-mmmm) and something savoury which I didn't even look at out of sheer disgust. No drink service, no coffee, no tea, no nothing.

I took the Fox's bisquits for a cup of tea later, but really I should have refused the lot out of spite, having been served a sausage and mash dinner, red wine and a G&T, ice and a slice on an EDI-LCY flight not too very long ago in UK Domestic.

To Palma, maybe, if you want to eat, and the TPs help. Otherwise, meh.
