AS MVPs have upgrade priority over you. Your best bet is to snag a seat during (or after OLCI). Some research on this board should get you the information you need for that.

Always select your seats with the operating carrier. DL will originally assign seats, but in my experience any changes you make with DL after that fall on deaf ears. Get your AS confirmation number and log on via the AS site. There, you will also be able to see whether your status is reflected in the reservation (it will say something like "DL Elite").
