There is absolutely no immigration check from HNL to GUM. (If you're admissible to the States, you are admissible to Guam.) Unlike every other flight arriving GUM, you skip immigration and go straight to Guam customs.
When flying GUM-HNL, you have to prove admissibility to the States. A driver's license may not be enough. This preclearance check is conducted at GUM prior to boarding. (Some procedures, such as new immigrant admission, can be processed at HNL, where you have more time, and your expired visa can be valid again due to the Date Line.) Then you proceed to US customs.
