One thing I'm looking at on the main NE Asia chart for "Within Northern Asia." If you take out the specific mentions of Japan-Korea and intra-China, it seems that there are some useful routings for 25K miles rt Y. I'll let someone else analyze J:
Japan-China (good use given paid fares ex-Japan are expensive)
Japan-Hong Kong (that's a good use)
Japan-Phils (very good use)
Korea-China (not so good)
China-Phils (possibly good if from North China like PEK)
HK-Phils (maybe not so good)
Anywhere to/from Taiwan (usually good, fares to/from TW seem high)
Of course, all this is theoretical, as it depends on being able to get "Low" awards. In the past, it seems intra-Asia on partners has been pretty easy to get but going forward....
