I think the best way right now would be to transfer 36000 (with no transfer fee) to BA.. which will =50K miles, and redeem for two American Airlines domestic tickets @ 25K a piece. Saves you the xfer fee and a couple points.

You can search availability before you transfer on BA's website once you register to be in the Executive club.
