I was talking about the one at Bophut Bay - the original. I have not been back to Koh Samui to try the new one at Chaweng, so cannot comment. Bophut is more of a very good 4-star as the accommodation was converted from an existing property, so is not perfect. Food was excellent (everything from breakfast to dinner), but you won't find the same level of guests here that you find at Four Seasons, so you may be in for a bit of a culture shock in that sense.

Personally, I don't like the island. It is not a luxe option in the true sense. There always seems to be some sort of compromise to be made.
