Correct, but such an important change that hadn't been mentioned elsewhere and that could easily/quickly be verified as false (like I said, quick check of the site, or even a call to another rep) should have triggered additional consideration before posting in alarm. But then again, we know that DL always tells us before they do something (intra-asia awards comes to mind as the immediate issue). Unfortunately, your blue kool-aid goggles are blocking the fact that
you should not have to call back to get the correct information. This is not a recent change and anyone dealing with a PM should know that (along with their supervisor). If my clients had to call someone else to get the correct answer, or to verify my answer, they a) wouldn't be my clients or b) I wouldn't have this job.
