Last year my DM hubby gifted me with gold status through 2/28/2011. He is again trying to gift gold, however, the website will not let him do it, as I am already GM. I have a flight on 3/4 - If he gifts the GM status on 3/1 - will it go through in time? Is there anything I should do now to ensure that happens? The main thing I would like is a chance to be upgraded on an award ticket. Am I correct in thinking a DM and GM traveling on the same PNR have a better chance of upgrade on an award ticket than a DM and a nobody traveling together?
