I wrote to delta complaining because the award tickets are no longer limited, and their rep had told me incorrect information. But then they wrote back this on 2-22-11:
Thank you for sharing your concern regarding your recent experience with us. On behalf of everyone at Delta Air Lines, I sincerely apologize for your disappointment with our waiver policy and award ticket availability.
I know your sheer disappointment with our waiver policy associated with changing a SkyMiles award ticket. Please know that, our Diamond and Platinum Medallion members are eligible for two Award Ticket Redeposit or Reissue fee waivers. So, those of you who wrote me, can you specifically remember Delta changing this rule to unlimited changes? Help!!!
