I'm going to see if LHR staff will switch me to the earlier flight to ORD, which would allow me to then catch the earlier GRR flight. I'm much rather take a 320 than a 145 in the winter in an area that's getting weather. If the luggage doesn't make it I have no problem w/ driving to the airport the next morning to get my luggage.

I've found the LHR staff to be very easy-going, when it comes to switching flights. I went to LHR for a weekend trip in November. Two other FTers were with me, and so they could sit on my flight, one asked the agent at check-in if she could switch him to my flight (10am LHR-ORD). A little bit of typing, and a BP for the 10am flight printed out. No charge for doing so
