I've been in this situation before -- all minor things -- and wondered about the proper way to let someone know as well. I've told FAs. They said "thank you" and continued their work. I assumed, or hoped that they wrote it down or filled out a form once they got back to their stations.

Once I wrote down the plane's number and sent email later. It was still a minor problem but I just decided to handle it a different way.
