I'm wondering the same thing. I just bought a D2 Global in and had planned on the international data plan that coworkers have used regularly in the past. When I found out that they discontinued this plan I returned the phone (lucky that I found out in the return window).

So now I'm looking for a cost effective solution for an upcoming trip to Europe where I'll be traveling for about 4 weeks through a few different countries. It seems that the other local options are all specific for one country, but hoping I might have overlooked something that would allow me to (data) roam cheaply through a few countries in western Europe, without having to buy a new card every couple of days.
