The on phone rep just told me that Platinum members are limited to TWO award ticket changes per year that are free. After that you pay the standard $150.00 change fee. I know I'm not the best reader, but I read my award literature carefully, and also looked on the web site. I didn't see any limitation. Did I just miss it? Have you seen this limitation? Well since I have redeposited 3 this year....I'm pretty sure they don't charge the $150 fee. Can you not do it online? I always just hit the "Cancel Flights" button and it takes me to the screen that shows what I will be refunded and then confirm it and bam....the miles post back to my account and I get refunded the $5 or $10 I paid domestically in taxes. Have yet to have an issue doing this online so I am confused at why you would call in to cancel an award ticket if you are a PM.
