Based on the little info that has been leaked, it seems that they are implementing a zone type system which takes distance into account ---> NRT-BKK now costs 80k while NRT-ICN is 15k.

Let's focus on the latter for a second. NRT-ICN is 783 miles. There are a lot of really expensive destinations within 783 miles of PEK and SHA, so let's hope that we get 15k awards as well.
