If they are combining points, does it really matter? The only circumstance I could think of where it might was not letting points lapse (as by infrequent use). In a combined-points situation, do both patners have to have at least one stay in their name annually, or if either member of the pair stays wouldn't that protect the joint account? Am I making sense?
