I would also look into getting one of the Priority Club credit cards, possibly one for each of you.

Reason #1: They have no extra fees just for using it overseas.

Reason #2: With the sign up bonus, you will have enough points to stay a few nights plus (probably) become an instant Platinum. Whether that gets you much depends on where you stay but it can be a nice way to reduce your total trip cost.
