I'm a BA silver card holder and have just been booked (via Carson Wagonlit, who I have to use) on to an Iberia flight to South America via Madrid. Carson has added my BA Exec number to the flight booking.

The first thing that surprised me is that it doesn't appear on my Exec club home page. If I add the iberia number I can find it, but don't seem to be able to select a seat. Is this normal?

Secondly, I was surprised to see that I would be getting 320 TP for this trip, 80 more than I expected. Is this usual, even when booking under a Iberia Flight number?

Thirdly, I only need 125 TP to get Gold. Will I loose the extra points?

Finally, is Iberia Business Class any good? Not sure if the bed compares to Club?
