Assuming OP is getting into HND at 11PM (10:30PM) and this is the DTW-HND flight? (as the LAX flight arrives in the AM).

My suggestion is to stay somewhere near Shinagawa; any catch the NEX (or regular trains to NRT) in the morning.

Getting in at 11PM is REALLY tight to make any trains into Narita (airport or Narita Town); and I see very few buses into NRT....please someone correct me if I'm wrong... NEX 1 is 6:05AM out of Shinagawa and NEX 3 is 6:17AM. Trying to get to Narita may be a major issue and you may get stuck at Chiba

Would love to hear any perspective from locals who tried to get to NRT late at night. (past midnight from central Tokyo)

Really silly that there is no midnight bus from HND-NRT
