I've had significant problems across Europe - e.g. misunderstanding/confusion (try and resolve it in Catalan anyone?); refusal to accept the card outright; inconvenience/delays due to being sent to different check-out counter; supervisor approval required.

I could go on. Why not get with the program and offer it?
