I got the res agent to waive the phone fee for me. I told her that if I had the opportunity to redeem the award online (UA/OS flights), then I would. Hopefully that is something CO will bring over to UA. And don't forget that Germany now has an approx $60 tax (on top of the other taxes) for itineraries Germany-USA (connecting flights thru Germany don't qualify), so it's now only about $20 dollars cheaper FRA-USA than LON-USA in Y.
