TN (Air Tahiti Nui) will get you to Tahiti (PPT / Papeete, French Polynesia) and on to Auckland / AKL or SYD on separate AAdvantage miles awards, I suspect. Qantas ("you" put the "u" in Qantas ) does not fly to PPT, creating a small challenge.

Please check the AA and All-Partner Award info, stopover & routing rules (NOT for oneworld Awards) thread for details and folks more knowledgeable than I - your question will be moved to that thread. As well, you can check the oneworld awards using American Airlines miles (not info for all-partner awards), but AFAIK you will not be able to use one of these for a trip USA-PPT-AKL-SYD, for example, because of the oneworld gap between PPT and Australasia.

(AA has partners that are not oneworld.)
