I think there is a lot of confusion concerning what a hotel should give or not to gold members since most hotels act differently in their policy. Sometimes it is quite DISAPPOINTING and in other situations it is GREAT. This way gold membership can be quite an adventure, that's nice if you like that, instead of a guarantee that your get what you deserve......
