I will be buying tickets shortly for our trop to Hawaii. We will be flying out of BOS with our final destination being KOA. Prior to yesterday, the only option I was given was flying thru SEA. Yesterday, PDX became a second option.
That said, for those familiar with both airports, which would be a better option flying thru? We are looking at February travel. I don't know much about the area weather and on time departures.
I think Portland is a nicer airport and easier to get around.
I have a couple of questions though. Are you looking at Feb 2012? If so, schedules aren't open that far out. I did look at some January dates, and the only thing that came up was through Seattle or Portland, with a forced overnight. Are you potentially overnighting in one of the cities? I think that may change a lot of people's suggestions.
