Do you have an EF subscription? If so, I'd highly recommend doing a seat alert on the seats in row 31 opening up. If someone gets upgraded out of those seats then the EF alert will quickly let you know so that you can snap them up for yourself.

When booking INTL flights on a 777 I pretty much only book if I can get 31 or a confirmed eVIP upgrade at time of booking.
