I had already checked out of ES Atlanta Galleria this morning and was making the crawl back towards ATL when my phone rang and one of our biz development guys , in a panic tells me that he needs me in a conference call and WebEx and needs me to present some slides that only I have on my lap top.

I was in full panic mode, and was near the Virginia Ave, exit. I pulled into HGI where I have not even stayed for 3-4 months, and went to the desk and told the guy I was a diamond member who had stayed at a different property all week but had my hands full and needed wifi asap. The manager stopped what he was doing, showed me a peferct quiet spot in the back of the bar area, and gave me the internet code. On top of this halfway through the call, the cleaning people came through and the girl who was about to vacuum came over and whispered to me that she knew I was on an important call and that she would wait until I was done.


Now THAT is unbelievable service. I didn't even stay there this week! Here's hoping the Q2 bonus will be better for mattress hops, because HGI Atlanta Airport North just got a big bucket of brownie points today.
