Good timing for the topic as I just spent a six night stay there last week. I was very impressed with the hotel from the time I checked in until the time I left.
Check in and front desk - Very efficient, offered platinum amenity without asking. Upgraded to Club floor (6th). Sheraton 100% satisfaction promise recited to me. Since my stay was over a weekend and the concierge lounge was closed on Sat and Sun, the front desk clerk said that they would deliver free breakfast coupons to my room. They never arrived but when I requested them on Friday evening, they were provided without hesitation.
Room and amenities - Nice sleigh bed, two chairs, windows that open, two 1/2 pint bottles of water, two $4 bottles of water (no way), small bag of pretzels behind the $4 water (afraid to open it because it probably would cost me $3), basic Sheraton toiletries, nice towels but not W quality, tub with jets, bad water pressure. Comfortible desk chair and basic desk. No high speed internet although its offered in some rooms. Free local calls up to 1 hr.
Room Service - Slightly above average food. Took my request of chicken tenders dipped in buffalo wing sauce without any hesitation. Sheraton 100% promise recited with each order. A little too much for me but hey, they lived up to it.
Concierge lounge - One of the best I've been to in the US. Excellent spread of munchies each evening, including mini knishes, egg rolls, nice cheese and fruit platter, mini sandwiches, cake. Bottled water, soda for no charge. $5.25 for a mixed drink was a little heavy but so was the alcohol that was poured. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, dry cereal, fruit, juice, yogurt, etc. Attentive staff, especially the cute, feisty Irish lady who is there in the mornings.
The overall appearance of the hotel was slightly above average and one of the best in NJ.
Very nice job!
