How many miles for a child?

We're planning on using an Amex 241 for a future trip - not sure on the destination as yet and will depend on my ability to build up enough miles.

This would be our third 241 trip (thanks for the most part to this great forum!) and have got great value travelling out in F and back in J.

The last trip was with my baby son who we paid 10% miles for which was expected and I thought was reasonable value.

The little one is now no longer eligible for the infant fare and I can't seem to find any clear indication of whether the mileage for a child is 100% of the adult or something less than this.

I searched everywhere and can't seem to get a firm answer on this. Is it 100%, lower fixed percentage or is it dependent on route?

Can anyone help?
