Some of you may remember a thread a month or so ago in which I asked for ideas for where to go with my girlfriend for her birthday. We ended up with tickets to Vienna, purchased through Opodo on Austrian Airlines, for departure tomorrow from LHR and back on the coming Wednesday. Yes, it was that much less expensive than BA - heaven knows I tried to get tickets on BA! (I mentioned BA, so we're back on topic now...right?)

Well, that may be coming back to kick me in the rear. I went to check in online at T-24 and found that I couldn't. Hrm. Called up Austrian's web helpline and after a few minutes on hold, the agent told me that the travel agency had cancelled the outbound - but not the return - ticket! After breaking out in a cold sweat and having a minor heart-attack, I called Opodo, and eventually got through to someone who said that it appeared that Austrian had cancelled the outbound leg, but is now checking into things and has promised to call me back.

OK, I realise that this is completely OT for the BA board, but it's the only flyertalk board I know, and you're all people of (generally) good sense...any ideas as to what I should do in case I get the run-around?
