I think you are all being far too kind, this is taking the p**s. The OP is Silver and is well entitled to the benefits that he has worked to get, but now they want 2 extra people into the lounge, sorry but if anybody guests any of the other 2 people in then you are complete idiots and if BA caught people doing this then they should have any cards taken off them.

I do not travel very often, but my Wife and I will fly in the best class we can afford, last couple of times it has been in CW. I like the thought of going into the lounge away from the rest of the people in the terminal and I feel good that I have worked hard enough and allocated my money so that I can do this. Then we get people coming on here with whatever sob story they come up with, or is true I am not saying everybody is embellishing the truth, about how nice it would be for xxxxx to have a nice start to their journey. If you want them to have such a nice start to their journey, do what most other people do and pay for it. The people who guest people in on BA97 are just as bad for taking people in who have no right to be in there.

Again, if you want them in the lounge, PAY FOR IT.
