I have clawed my way back to Silver by flying WT regularly and am approaching Gold. I am flying to JFK next week taking my partner, my aunt and her daughter (at the request and payment of my Mother who left us the money for this trip).

I'd love to take all 3 of them into the lounge, not to gorge on the food and booze, but to make the trip a little more special.

I asked politely this week when in T5 and was summarily dismissed.

I'm actually happy to pay for the privilege if it makes it happen.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Our flight is at 8.20am so it would be for no more than an hour max, I'd guess, and we'd probably have a cuppa.

I'd really appreciate any guidance. I do not want to be humiliated by asking for access when they are with me on the day.
