I read many posts with interest and am finally getting involved.

An English expat in Singapore for the past 16 months, I've kept my UK BAEC membership along with my Amex, but it's getting increasingly difficult to justify paying for it and not really using it - therefore no chance of hitting the threshold for another 2-41 voucher. However, any tips on good value routes from SIN to rack up some miles/points?

Also, highly excited about a 2-4-1 redemption trip in First to LA in April. BA0283 on 16th from LHR, though the wife and I are to endure World Traveller the night before from SIN to LHR. First time in the nose of the plane and already waste too much time day dreaming about it!
