As a Plat we got a huge room in the main lodge itself, with complimentary early morning coffee brought to our room ( a nice touch). I think most fo the rooms are pretty nice - those in the wings fanning out from the lodge seemed to have lanais giving direct access onto the lawns.

We were a little disappointed with the dining to be honest. The more casual restaurant (I forget the name) was fine for breakfast, but dinner was WAY overpriced for acceptable but not great food. The formal dining room was very nice, but VERY formal and also commensurately expensive.

We found the best food we had on Lanai (from a quality / value / atmosphere point of view) was actually at the golf course down at Manele. It's open in the evening, with nice breezes and great views out to sea. Atmosphere is much more casual and the food is great.

We went to Lanai for a week and originally planned to spend 5 days at the Lodge and 2 at Manele. In the end, we spent so long shuttling down to Manele to use the pool, spa, restaurants etc, that we moved there after 3 days.
