I flew Cathay Pacific outbound and the mid-flight snack had several hot options, wontons with noodles, and ice cream. UA's mid-flight snack options included a wrap and Twix bars.

That does not sound good. Chicken is always a dodgy choice, especially if it's undercooked. Beef is safer and you won't get sick if it's undercooked.
