I've been on full flights where a seat wouldn't un-recline. I've also seen WN remove a full row of seats from service (by taking away the seat cushions) because of an issue with one seat or one tray table.

Once a passenger in front of me caused a 30 minute delay (where they told him they might need to bump him involuntarily because of this). If I'm in a seat that won't stay in the upright position, I make sure I'm not pushing any of my weight against the seat back when the FA walks by for the preflight check. Then when I deplane I advise the FA of the defect. It's a win-win for me, since I'm not delayed or bumped. Sorry if you were a passenger on the next flight which may be delayed if the FA follows thru with the repair order. But heck it was a safety issue, right?

I did find a seat belt socket that was installed backwards last month but kept quiet on that one.

Burnt out reading lights aren't a no-fly item, I've never seen them replaced in the air or on the ground (must be a night maintenance item?). So the most you'll get is a respose of "oh, that's unfortunate, thanks for letting us know"
