I was once on a flight and we had a brief delay to fix a tray table to make sure it would be upright at takeoff. I think an FA noticed it - had a pax noticed it and told the FA, just before takeoff, I would have been peeved as these have to be fixed in order to fly. (though maybe I would have had some understanding that in the rare event of a minor crash or takeoff issue, this would prevent injury)
