You must not have been to YUL for a very long time. In fact, the airport is pretty impressive and easy to navigate. I used to hate it but there are plenty of moving walkways and connecting to International is not a problem from the US. Also customs is VERY efficient. Far superior to Toronto or Vancouver.

OP, the process for clearing customs and onto international is pretty smooth so as long as your flight is not delayed inbound you should be fine. Just be sure to follow the signs for Intnl. connections and as another poster mentioned, look for the agent at the top of the escalator just above the customs hall.
