Sorry, your comment makes no sense.

The OP had 8 kids under his care and given that they (probably) all had different last names, it was highly unlikely that he was fleeing an abusive spouse.

Unless he is Brad, fleeing from Angelina ... but I digress

Case in point: I had a woman fleeing her husband arrive at the airport to discover that her reservations had been canceled by her husband. She had used her card, but it was his account, and the reservation agent thought it was ok to give the husband his wife's travel information.

I had to call the airport police to guard her, from her husband, until she boarded her flight. The potential harm was huge to this woman, all because some agent gave the husband a "wink".
