I just went on the BA exec club website and tried ALL class availability for my timeframe. Zip is available, till mid to late October for any reward travel out of SEA.

The LA suggestion is a possibility, but adding on the traveltime to LA, the wait time and extra airtime....we are trying so hard to keep the flighttime over the pond to under 10 hrs, and this would add at least 4-5 hours plus the cost of a SEA/LAX ticket.

Is there any advantage to actually talking with a BA person? In past years, they have been very friendly and tried to be helpful, but have not been able to do anything.

Iam seriously thinking of changing credit cards that offer mileage reward programs to one that applies to more airlines, but I'm stubborn enough and thrifty enough that I want to deplete the mileage and freebies we have accumulated before doing so.
