I don't care
That's right. I really don't give a rat's patooty if this pet's body was screened or not.
It's wildly improbable there was any bomb packed into the animal. Why they didn't simply Xray it is beyond my simple understanding, but
I STILL DON'T CARE.
The TSA is a huge boondoggle, and getting our panties in a bunch over items screened and unscreened is insanely inane, or maybe inanely insane. Whatever.
The current screening isn't going to prevent explosives from getting on board a plane. Screening that would do this would be prohibitively expensive and unpleasant.
What I do object to is that countless live human beings were irradiated and/or molested and had their possessions rifled through, vandalized and/or stolen for no good reason. If the TSA thugs must commit these crimes, it would be preferable if they committed them against dead bodies rather than live citizens.
I repeat:
I DON'T CARE IF THE DEAD DOG MANAGED TO FLY UNMOLESTED.
I JUST WISH I COULD BE GRANTED THE SAME "PRIVILEGE".
