Searched and this topic has not been addressed often and most recently over a year ago it seems.

I am flying MAD-CDG later next month with my daughter. We are now set to depart MAD @ 3:35PM with a 19 hour layover in Paris before we cross the pond.

Question:
Does anyone have experience with Air France regarding Standby on an earlier same day intra-European flights??

I want to extend our Paris layover a few extra hours, especially to try and arrive while the sun is up and justify the expense of a nice hotel and share the experience of Paris with my daughter.
