Not sure why you need to have a root canal in ATL. The UK has dentists too...they are actually quite good (and probably a lot cheaper than a US dentist!).
Depends on what rwoman's visa situation in the UK is. If she can access an NHS dentist, it's probably cheaper. However, private dentistry could be more expensive than in the US.
