I ate in the pre-flight dining area of the J lounge at JFK for the first time recently, and actually came away rather impressed with the quality of the food, especially as compared with EWR. It's not a Michelin star experience, naturally, but was on par with a chain restaurant in the suburbs, minus the service. YMMV....maybe I caught it on a good day.

CW breakfast on that route is a joke, unless you are a bacon roll fanatic, so don't expect much.
