Scammers like these, who sell ineffective devices or training, are all too common in just about every industry. They'll show you all kinds of made-up stats and records of success, but in the end, the stuff they sell is junk and doesn't work.

Unfortunately, some of them actually BELIEVE in the junk they're selling, and many of their customers believe in it, too.

I'm as skeptical as the next guy, but I've seen on many occasions well witchers and farmers all use dowsing rods to come up with the same location independently that yielded a very good well, in dry areas where water was scarce, and the cost of drilling dry holes couldn't be afforded by said farmers.

so, there might be something to it...
All independent tests ever conducted showed that dowsers had the same record of success as random chance.
