What is the rule on when the GA may begin clearing the wait listed upgrades? Is there a set time, or is it completely at their discretion within 3 hours? If there isn't a set time prescribed, then if the EXP was waiting on R, and the OP and his wife were waiting on C, and C opened up, then there's no reason why they couldn't be cleared, they opened C w/o opening R because THEY WANTED TO ALLOCATE THE SEATS FIRST TO THOSE CASHING IN MILES/SWU AHEAD OF THOSE USING EXP COMPS/E500S.
