I can say with certainty that a
Ga is going to have to explain to me how I didn't get the upgrade when I am an exp and #1 on the list within a hour of departure. Are there situations where I am not due the upgrade? Of course. However, I know what those are and the reason better be one of those examples. This happened to me recently where a paid F exp did standby on my flight where I was first on the list. There was a CK rep with me who double checked to make sure that things were on the up and up.

My point is that I'm sure the ga realized the mistake and knew it wouldn't survive scrutiny. Her lack of empathy was surely embarrassment.

I've said here many times that I thought that there should be more battlefield upgrades to account for irrops as well as standby F passengers. However, I also accept that I have bias as a frequent purchaser of F and C.

On a different subject AA, the least you can do for me after eliminating BOS SFO is to get at least one damn plane to or from BOS that has wifi. It would make all the connecting a lot more palatable. I hate to say it, but if my Corp travel department opens the door to fly ua again, UGS here I come.

American Airlines...we fly to Dallas and sometimes have wifi on our planes.
(but don't count on it).
