Arrive at gate:
Best case: main terminal - 5 min to security
Worst case: bus gate - 20 min to security
Security:
Best case: 10 min
Worst case: 20 min
Walk to gate: 10 min
So, Worst Case you will make it with 10 min to spare. That is why the MCT is 60.
Absolute worst case is a 20 minute delay followed by a bus gate and a busy security area. In that case you will be rebooked.
EDIT: Flights are not always late. A lot of times they are actually early.
