Kamakura day trip it is and thank you for the advice regarding the back tracking. Yeh we understand our hotel is a little out of the way but we dont mind catching a bus to the centre point and walking from there, a little public transport never worried me so much so thats ok, even a taxi we wouldn't mind doing I found some great walking tours through JNTO and thinking of doing those to cover everything as they give great descriptions on how to get there and seem to include all the "main" attractions.

Thank you all for your input, I cant wait to get over there and put all my planning to use, i just hope I have saved enough money and it all works out, only 8 weeks to go, the count down is on, lol
