I came back on Qantas yesterday and they too have the cloth towels and I did wonder myself what happens to them as I noticed all the other stuff people had thrown in the trash like paper cups and toothburshes.
EK used to have some very nice face cloths with their logo on them in the economy toilets. So nice were they I took a few..... they must have stopped that as they didn't even have them in the Biz toilet on my last flight with them.

I wonder if there are any airlines who offer blowers in the toilets?
