What's that all about? (Or have I just been asleep at the wheel since forever?)

I don't see it as a big problem, 'cause you could just make 2 reservations for 3 days each. I suppose you could even get the Platinum amenity twice, courtesy of booking engine restrictions.

So why would there be such a limitation?


This has been covered at least once before. The reason being is that Category 1 & 2 have different redemption rates for week nights and weekend nights. The database cannot confirm more than one set of different redemption rates, so a five day restriction is in place.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. If you want more than five nights on the same reservation number, I suggest calling the Customer Contact Center to book it.
